Pregnancy & Breastfeeding

Feeling overwhelmed by trying to provide for your little one? What CAN you eat? How do you get enough nutrients while breastfeeding? Uncomfortable in doing this without help?

 

Pregnancy and breastfeeding is an important time in your life to focus on your diet, not only for your well-being but for your new little person. It is incredibly important to make sure you are taking care of yourself and that you are getting all the nutrients to nourish a growing baby. 

 

It can be difficult to decipher what nutrients you need, how much of them and where to get them. Not to mention, during pregnancy your energy requirements don’t increase like we think they do- so juggling these increased nutrient requirements, without drastically increasing your energy intake can be difficult.

 

Then, if you are breastfeeding, it can be difficult to worry about food and nutrients when you’d really just like a nap. It requires a lot of energy to feed a little one, so making sure you eat enough and well is necessary to maintain your supply and nourish you and your bub.

  • Discussing the important nutrients and their sources during these times and how they fit into your diet

  • Helping you have a balanced diet for your requirements over each stage of pregnancy and breastfeeding

  • Discussing convenient, healthy options for when you are feeling time-poor

  • Managing symptoms such as nausea, constipation
